Cash and time are different things
Start with what you actually pay for optional subscriptions and upgrades across your dating apps each month. Free app use can mean your cash total is zero. Add the approximate hours you spend swiping or messaging each week.
You can put a personal value on those hours if that helps you reflect, but it is not a bill, a lost wage or a saving you can spend. The worksheet deliberately keeps that subjective figure separate from cash.
Your dating time & budget
Use AUD and your own figures. Blank fields mean zero; the optional time value stays optional. Nothing is collected.

A deliberate budget, not a promised result
Would you rather keep spending time and money on an uncertain process, or put a deliberate budget towards a connection whose expectations you have discussed? You can also choose to spend less, take a break or change your routine.
A comfortable dating budget can cover things such as transport, activities and meals, and any support you mutually agree to discuss. Support expectations vary. We do not suggest typical amounts or calculate an arrangement price.
How to read your numbers
Monthly time uses 52 weeks divided by 12 months. Annual cash is monthly app spending multiplied by 12. The optional time figure multiplies your monthly hours by the hourly value you choose. We do not add that to your cash spending.
The dating budget is shown on its own. It is not a savings claim, a price for a person or a prediction of what someone will accept. Arrangement dating can cost more, take longer or lead nowhere; neither subscriptions nor arrangements guarantee a relationship.
Decide if it fits you.
